The Endless End-of-Summer

Trapped inside a snowglobe,

Swirling sunshine on repeat,

Came the Endless End-of-Summer,

Spent jumping off docks,

Ducking through corn,

Leaves ripping rashes in our arms,

While the bees whispered secrets in our ears.

And stagnant water never looked so clear

Here,

The only thing between you, and infinity,

Is a bridge.

So stay close to the rails, mind the gap,

And welcome to the dry side of the damn.
The Endless End-of-Summer.

Let's keep it endless, until the first snow falls.

And when winter starts, we'll have snowman-building parties, and we'll drink hot cocoa and go sledding, and it will be endless as well.
